Recipes for your own AI.

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client to SiKick (avatar menu → Connect your AI), then paste a recipe. Your AI reads the other tool with its own connector and suggests cards; a person accepts each one. SiKick never gets the tool itself.

Email: inbox to cards and reply drafts

Your AI reads your inbox with its own email connector, suggests SiKick cards for real work and writes reply drafts you copy.

NeedsYour AI's Gmail or Outlook connector

Calendar: plan my day, prep my meetings

Your AI suggests an order for your day around your meetings, puts meeting prep in your day, and your call agenda into the invite.

NeedsYour AI's Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar connector

Slack, Teams or Discord: a channel to cards

For teams that don't talk on Telegram: your AI reads a channel and suggests the work in it.

NeedsYour AI's Slack, Microsoft Teams or Discord connector

Notion, Linear, Jira or Asana: bring my open tasks

Moving over, or keeping an eye on another tool: your AI suggests your open tasks as SiKick cards. A one-way copy; it never changes the other tool.

NeedsYour AI's Notion, Linear, Jira or Asana connector

Weekly update from SiKick to Slack or email

SiKick to your AI to your tools: your AI writes the update from what happened in SiKick, and posts it after your OK.

NeedsYour AI's Slack connector, or its email connector

Write your own

Any tool your AI has a connector for. Start from this and fill in the brackets.

NeedsA connector in your AI for the tool you want

  • Name the SiKick tools: suggest_cards, suggest_card_update, capture_to_personal (day and at for a set time).
  • Give a time window (today, last 24 hours, since Monday).
  • Say the project, or let it call list_projects and ask you.
  • Ask it to show you what it suggested at the end.
What every recipe tells your AI
Rules for SiKick:
- Use the SiKick connector's tools by name. Start with list_projects; check what exists with my_cards and get_board(project, column: 'inbox') so you never suggest a duplicate.
- New work -> ONE suggest_cards(project, cards: [...]) per project, at most 10 cards per call. Each card: title (imperative, max 10 words), why (one line: who asked for what, and why it matters), source: {kind, tool, from, subject, where, date (ISO 8601), link} with what you know (kind is one of email, calendar, chat, tasks, notes, crm). Optional: topic (a slug from get_board), doer ('agent' | 'human').
- Work that already has a card -> suggest_card_update(project, card_id, note: one line, source) instead of a new card.
- A reply is due -> draft_reply: {to, subject, body} on that card (short, plain text, in my voice). Never send anything yourself unless I say so.
- Private, not for a project -> capture_to_personal(title, mins); add day (YYYY-MM-DD) and at (HH:MM) only when it has a set day or start time.
- Send SiKick only titles, one-line whys, the source line and drafts. Never paste whole emails, messages, documents or other people's personal data into SiKick.
- Only concrete work someone could do; most runs give 0-3 cards. Skip noise (newsletters, receipts, notifications, small talk).
- You only suggest: a person accepts, assigns or parks every card in SiKick. Never file, assign, move or decide.

Custom connectors work on every Claude plan (Free: one). ChatGPT: full custom MCP (suggesting cards) on Business, Enterprise and Edu; Pro is read and fetch only. Updated 2026-11-03.
